29th April – 5th May 2019 is apparently National Stationery Week here in the UK! Now, as a planner and stationery addict I need very little excuse for seeking out new stationery supplies, but this seemed like the perfect chance to add to my ever growing wish list, and maybe invest in a little treat (or two) for myself too!
Etsy is the first place that I look for so many things these days! Most of my planner supplies are from Etsy shops, and I try to support small businesses wherever I can when it comes to shopping for gifts for others too.
The Organised Hedgehog on Etsy stocks some great planner supplies and stationery, including a good selection of MAMBI Happy Planner goodies, which aren’t always easy to find in the UK! This is always my first stop for OliClips too. Delivery is quick, and I’ve always had great service.
The latest release of Happy Planners are now available, ready for a July start. The “Fall in Love with Taking Care of You” mini fitness planner jumped out at me and is ready in my basket as a little pay day treat! It should be perfect for keeping me on track with my weightloss journey.
I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many notebooks! I’m a big list maker, and also one of those people who has to write everything down as it comes to them or it will definitely get forgotten! So I have notebooks everywhere. I’m so in love with these foiled notebooks from the Old English Company. There are lots of designs to choose from, some with the option for personalisation. I found this one on Etsy, but there is also a website, and as well as notebooks they have a lovely range of pins, mugs, coasters, and stationery. I’ve now got a big wish list for myself and lots of ideas for upcoming birthdays!
If you can never have too many notebooks, then of course, you can never have too many pens to write in them with, and The Pensnickety Co has a HUGE range to choose from. One of these cute Alpaca Gel Pens is sat in my cart alongside some other cute pens, erasers and sticky notes. My little people are big stationery addicts too, so between us we’re building quite a collection of cute accessories!
As a big fan I’m always on the look out for ways to include Harry Potter in my planning and stationery collection, and these Paper House washi tapes from Gretel Creates are lovely. There are several cute designs and the quality is great. I picked up the “Expecto Partronum” set last week from my son, alongside the Paper House Harry Potter planner, in an attempt to get him somewhat organised! Delivery was quick and friendly customer service too.
If you prefer to do your stationery shopping in person, there are of course some great shops out there on the high street – Paperchase, Ryman, WH Smith, even Wilko and the £1 shops have some great bargains. But if you get the chance to support a small business please take it!
